In a world that is becoming increasingly aware of the importance of sustainability, we took a decisive step in 2023 to make our contribution to environmental protection. Our newly upgraded headquarters is not only a symbol of our commitment to the environment, but also a living example of how companies can act responsibly and conserve resources.
Motivation of the commitment
Our headquarters, the heart of our company, reflects the values that guide us as a responsible manufacturer. We understand our responsibility towards people and nature and focus on comprehensive occupational safety and sustainability in everything we do. Our latest initiative, the installation of a rooftop photovoltaic system with a capacity of up to 100 kWp, is a significant step in our journey towards a more sustainable operation.
Innovative energy supply
This solar system enables us to supply our administration and logistics with electricity completely independently in good light conditions. We store surplus electricity that is not used immediately in a 35 kW electricity storage unit. This approach not only allows us to cover our energy requirements sustainably, but also to actively contribute to stabilizing the public electricity grid by feeding in surplus energy.
Promotion of electromobility
A further step towards sustainability is the installation of three charging points for electric cars with a charging capacity of 22 kW, which can charge up to six vehicles simultaneously. These pillars are available to our employees and guests and thus actively promote the use of electric vehicles.
Environmental impact
The positive effects of our sustainability efforts are not just theoretical. Since the system was commissioned, we have already been able to save 485 trees – and around 120 more are saved every month. These figures are a clear testimony to our commitment to the environment and motivate us to continue on our path.
